Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or a related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• MSHA Part 46/48 Trainer certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret changes to federal, state and local regulations.
• Maintain all necessary permits, licenses and reporting obligations.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections, audits and investigations.
• Develop, implement and maintain safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular training for employees and contractors on safety requirements.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses and property damage.
