Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks a Multispecialty Sonographer at BSW Brenham Medical Center for PRN coverage. The role involves performing abdominal, OB/GYN, cardiac, vascular, musculoskeletal, and small parts ultrasound examinations with attention to clinical history and exam goals.

The position requires ARDMS/BLS credentials and completion of an accredited ultrasound program, with the ability to work flexibly to meet patient needs and department priorities.

Qualifications

• Education: Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Experience: 2 Years of Experience in multispecialty ultrasound.
• Certifications: ARDMS or equivalent per the specialty requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs various specialty ultrasound procedures with different equipment and techniques.
• Identifies abnormalities and extends examination scope when necessary.
• Assists physicians in procedures and operating rooms when required.
• Prepares patients, obtains history, and communicates results to patients.
