Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and healthcare teams across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings.

You will perform clinical and administrative duties, manage documentation, and contribute to efficient patient care in a fast-paced environment. Experience with X-Rays, EHR systems, and ICD coding is required, with preference for candidates from orthopedic, dermatology, or hospital medicine backgrounds.

Qualificações

• X-Rays are required as part of clinical duties.
• Certified Medical Assistant certificate is required.
• Experience in orthopedics, dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or emergency departments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology necessary for patient care.
• Experience with EHR systems for documentation, scheduling, and billing across settings.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
• Familiarity with ICD coding practices for accurate diagnosis documentation and billing compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories and updating electronic health records.
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
• Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort.
• Support physicians during procedures by handling instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and assisting with medication administration when needed.
• Perform basic diagnostic tasks including X-ray imaging and other outpatient or inpatient assessments.
