Job summary

Requires CT/NY licensure, a LPN diploma and a high school diploma. Two years of medical practice is preferred; EMR (Epic) experience and MS Office skills are desirable, CPR certification is preferred, bilingual

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and LPN Diploma required.
• 2 years of medical practice experience preferred.
• Current licensure CT and/or NY (when necessary).
• EMR experience preferred; Microsoft Office knowledge; CPR certification preferred; Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care responsibilities as assigned under the supervision of the physician/provider.
• Sends/receives patient medical records and abstracts new patient records into Epic.
• Sets up instruments and equipment according to department protocol.
• Maintains patient autonomy, confidentiality and dignity.
• May assist and/or perform chaperone duties for patient medical procedures as needed.
