Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the West Ashley specialty clinics. The role supports Cardiology, Endocrinology, GI, Nephrology and Neurology, with RN supervision and cross-training across specialties.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, no weekends or holidays, in a fast-paced clinic. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals and health history, documenting in the EMR, returning messages, providing injections, and

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals and health history, and document in the EMR.
• Assist with injections and minor procedures.
• Support multiple specialties within the clinic under RN supervision.
• Maintain sterile and organized exam rooms and assist with scheduling.
