Job summary

Havasu Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Multiskilled Technician (CNA) for Med Surg/Tele. This part-time/PRN role offers 3x12 schedules, with nights (7:30 pm–7:00 am) or days (7:00 am–7:30 pm) to provide essential patient care in a dynamic unit.

The ideal candidate will hold an Arizona CNA or LNA license, and obtain BLS within 30 days of hire; strong critical thinking and teamwork are highly valued in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have a current Arizona state CNA or LNA license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.
• Licenses: Arizona CNA or LNA upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms stocked, clean and orderly.
• Performs clerical duties aligned with nursing station activities.

How you'll contribute

A Med Surg/ Tele Multiskilled Tech who excels in this role:

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.

• Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms stocked, clean and orderly.
• Performs clerical duties, aligned with nursing station activities.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona state CNA or LNA license. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Additional requirements include

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
• Required Skills: Strong critical thinking skills and sound judgment, Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while taking appropriate action.
• Competencies: EKG Interpretation required within 90 days of hire
• Licenses: Arizona CNA license or LNA license required upon hire
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
