Job summary

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of healthcare building maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, lighting, pneumatic tube systems, and related equipment.
• Ability to follow Hoag standards, safety protocols, and infection control practices.
• Proficiency with Hoag computer software (Kronos, Service Now, Lawson, Swisslog, BMS).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all hospital areas and respond to work orders, emergencies, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor Life Safety systems, fire alarm, nurse call, and security systems.
• Perform basic repairs to lighting systems and HVAC equipment.
• Install framing, door assemblies, drywall, and refinishing where needed.
• Support locksmith tasks including key duplication and lock maintenance.
