Job summary

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Irvine, CA is seeking a Multiskilled Facilities Engineer II to maintain and repair hospital facilities, respond to work orders and emergencies, and support a safe, efficient environment per Hoag standards. You will work with life safety and building management systems, perform basic repairs to lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and coordinate with maintenance teams.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 4 years of building maintenance/repair experience, healthcare preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, lighting, building trades and painting.
Knowledge of safety, infection control and following instructions.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair all hospital areas; respond to work orders, emergencies and scheduled maintenance.
Monitor Life Safety systems, fire alarm, nurse call, and security systems.
Perform basic repairs to lighting; install framing, doors, drywall, and casework.
Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and low voltage equipment.
