Job summary

KDC One is seeking a proactive Facilities Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of our production facility in Ohio. The role involves working across electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, mechanical, and general facility maintenance tasks while adhering to SOPs and safety requirements.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot equipment, perform routine inspections, and read blueprints and manuals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years of facility maintenance experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including SOPs and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and periodic checks of facility and equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and take corrective action.
• Perform industrial electrical work, including wiring, outlets, and lighting.
• Complete welding, soldering, and brazing projects.
• Operate shop equipment safely and perform general repairs.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and read blueprints.
