Qualifications

• Experience with routine maintenance tasks.
• Ability to assist skilled tradespeople and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Willingness to perform cleaning duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance as described in job duties.
• Assist maintenance Lead and tradespeople with more skilled tasks including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Handle plumbing tasks such as service and repair of faucets, drains, toilets, and sinks; replace angle stops and shut-off valves.
• Assist with electrical tasks including replacing bulbs, switches, and outlets; maintain/restrooms or kitchen exhaust systems and smoke detectors.
• Prepare surfaces for painting; plaster walls and ceilings and apply appropriate paints.
• Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repair and service as needed.
• Move equipment and furniture for renovations or relocations; participate in safety and housekeeping duties.
