Job summary

Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller seeks an Engineering Technician in the Blow Moulding Department at Severnside Dairy. You will provide front line reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and drive improvements to reliability and efficiency on site.

The role is a permanent 4 on 4 off shift (2 days & 2 nights, 7-7) with responsibilities across CMMS data, RCFA, and cross‑functional handovers. A strong apprenticeship and multiskilled mechanical/electrical background are required.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Multiskilled engineer with mechanical/electrical bias.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective handover of information across shifts.
• Use PMS to support prioritisation and problem solving (RCFA).
• Diagnose faults and test, repair and maintain mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Observe, recognise and report defects or symptoms of impending failure and provide CMMS data.
• Contact OEMs and suppliers for technical support and expedite parts when not available on site.
• Lead shift-based problem solving where corrective actions aren't clear.
• Work as ONE TEAM with First Line Response Technician.
• Coach operators with asset care tasks.
• Identify and implement improvements.
• Identify life cycle issues and raise recommendations.
• Use 5WHY and RCA techniques for long-term fixes.
• Support 5S programmes for workshops and stores.
