Job Title: Multiskilled Engineer Days shifts

Location: Lincolnshire, United Kingdom

Salary: £44k to £49k

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our engineering team, working 06:00 – 18:00 on a 223 shift pattern.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of engineering services and technical support to the business, with focus on reducing downtime proactively using the sites PM software.

Duties to include:

  • The execution of day-to-day maintenance tasks, including line improvements
  • The provision and implementation of solutions in line with the engineering strategy to reduce downtime
  • Use of root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons behind problems and failures, seeking to identify areas for improvement in plant performance
  • Involvement in engineering projects from inception to delivery as and when required
  • Continually drive towards a PPM culture
  • To assist in setting of machines in conjunction with the operations team
  • The provision of a first-class engineering service
  • Providing daily progress updates to the Site engineering lead
  • Working together with internal and external teams
  • Compliance with all health and safety, quality, and hygiene standards
  • Communicate effectively with engineering stores, on parts used, to maintain the restock cycle
  • Work alongside production with a “one team” mindset
