Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking workers for hourly production positions on the poultry line in the Fort Smith to Van Buren area. You will rotate between packer, scaler, styler and grader and maintain line speeds for different products.

Responsibilities include packing, weighing, inspecting and sorting products, and working with the team to uphold quality and safety standards in a cold, noisy environment. Physical tasks are required and safety gear is provided.

Qualifications

• Able to stand, walk and perform repetitive tasks for long shifts.
• Willingness to work in a cold, wet environment.
• Team-oriented with good communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Packer, scaler, styler and grader on a moving conveyor belt, ensuring products are prepared to spec and at the designated rate.
• Perform multiple packing and weighing tasks and remove product that does not meet standards.
• Participate as a team member, supporting Lean practices and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as necessary to support business objectives.
• Move, push or pull up to 55 pounds and work in a cold, wet, noisy environment.
