Job summary

RPM SPG is seeking a Production Operator for our Avon, Ohio facility. You will operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce finished goods while ensuring quality and safety.

The role emphasizes teamwork in a small facility with cross-training opportunities in extrusion, weigh-up, mixing, and shipping/receiving. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of equipment operation are required, with comprehensive benefits and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience operating industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to adjust complex machinery.
• Excellent color perception and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Prepare materials according to formulas and specifications.
• Inspect parts and finished products for defects.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and proper PPE usage.
• Record daily production logs and material usage.
• Prepare finished products for shipping with accuracy.
