Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance, installation or repairs in plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and related areas at our Lynn, MA site.

You will work with pumps, engines, valves and conveyors, learn mechanical troubleshooting, dismantle and reassemble equipment, operate CMMS, and support safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; read and comprehend English instructions.
• 6 months to 2 years in a related maintenance role preferred.
• Experience with power, pneumatic, hydraulic tools and shop tools preferred.
• Minimum water/wastewater license as required by site.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on pumps, engines, valves and related equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Dismantle/reassemble equipment and test for safe operation.
• Maintain facilities, operate within safety and environmental policies.
