Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a facilities technician to maintain a safe, organized environment for 1,000+ employees at the Mequon, WI location. The role covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical maintenance, with oversight of contractors and on-site availability five days a week.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with 4+ years in related work and experience reading drawings, using tools, and performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 4 years relevant experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• 4 years of relevant professional experience in facilities maintenance.
• Experience supporting capital projects and overseeing outside contractors on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and roofing projects.
• Coordinate and oversee service contractors (janitorial, landscaping, etc.).
• Welding skills for machine repair and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized, safe work environment for 1,000+ employees.
• Take requests through the work order system and prioritize work.
• Coordinate and oversee service contractors.
• On-site work five days a week in Mequon, WI.
• Read prints and mechanical drawings for layout and expansion projects.
• Operate aerial lifts and industrial fork trucks.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and building systems.
• Use basic hand and power tools for repairs.
• Commit to health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
