Job summary

Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Speech Therapist to plan, organize, develop, and direct Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. The role ensures the highest quality resident care and compliance.

Full-Time with Flexible hours and duties across two locations, Avondale Health and Rehab and Dyersburg Health and Rehab, with a focus on comprehensive SLP services and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency required.
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals according to standards.
• Evaluate and obtain data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans with target lists and short/long-term goals.
• Instruct patients, families, and staff in speech-language procedures for carryover of remediation.
• Complete compliant and medically necessary documentation in CMS expectations (NetHealth EMR).
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs.
• Participate in screening protocols to identify resident needs.
