What You'll Be Doing
Under the guidance of the Regional Facilities Manager, the Multisite Senior Service Technician specializes in HVAC systems across multiple communities, ensuring resident satisfaction through exceptional service and technical expertise.
- Troubleshoot and repair PTAC heat pump units, rooftop units, cooling towers, and air handlers
- Perform maintenance tasks like electrical installations, furnace and AC repairs, plumbing, drywall, painting, vinyl, and minor roof repairs
- Respond to emergency service requests
- Handle special projects such as steam trap replacements and actuator installations
- Respond promptly to resident service requests
- Conduct quarterly preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment and cooling towers
- Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment including water heaters and HVAC units
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and structural issues, report repairs needed
- Train onsite technicians on HVAC & PTAC units
- Maintain EPA Type I & II Certification
- Work hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm, with travel to multiple properties as needed
What You'll Need To Thrive
- Minimum three years of hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC
- Supervisory experience and apartment experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability, multi-tasking, and sound decision-making skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, reliable transportation
- Knowledge of housing laws
- Flexible schedule including weekends, availability for emergencies
- Smartphone use for work tasks, with updated, secure software
- Proficiency in computer use and ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Compensation
$32.71-$39.98 per hour, based on skills and experience.
