Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood is seeking a Production Manager responsible for all aspects of the Production and Production Warehouse departments across multiple locations. You will lead teams, manage budgets, and serve as the primary IT/technical contact, ensuring safe, efficient operations.

The role requires 7+ years in food production, Bachelor’s in Business Management preferred, HACCP/GMP preferred, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management preferred.
• 7+ years in production/manufacturing in a food environment.
• HACCP and GMP certifications preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership required.
• Proficiency with ERP and WMS systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans to ensure orders are completed on time.
• Determine headcount requirements and labor utilization.
• Schedule equipment and team resources to support each plan.
• Track component yield rates to meet business goals.
• Manage work order maintenance and audits.
• Set department performance metrics and monitor productivity.
• Develop and monitor annual department budgets.
• Ensure safe work environment and compliance with policies.
• Oversee staff training and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with Human Resources on staffing and engagement.
