Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Site Manager to lead day-to-day operations across the main plant and satellite locations in New England and New York. This role requires coordinating plant operators, drivers, mechanics, and support teams to deliver safe, reliable performance 24/7.

The successful candidate will oversee three direct reports and drive continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and employee development while maintaining safety as a top priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 7+ years of plant or operations experience required; bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred with 4+ years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in plant/operations and distribution is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety performance by actively engaging employees in all safety aspects and ensure top priority of safety across operations.
• Provide Safety, Health, and Environmental training to staff and ensure compliance with standards.
• Support day-to-day plant and distribution operations, identify issues, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee the site Management of Change process, including procedures development and implementation.
• Respond to and support plant issues on a 24/7 basis as needed.
• Plan, organize, and deliver safe, reliable operational results within budget.
• Drive productivity improvements and coach employees to support performance and growth.
• Interface with internal teams and regulatory officials as needed.
