Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State, and the second largest in the nation. Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Multisite Operations Manager of School Health - Brooklyn.

In this role, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for strategic planning, clinical and financial operations, and the success of the practice and/or program. Reports directly to the Senior Director of Operations. The Operations Manager will develop and collaborate with FHC leadership to strategize and identify opportunities to expand and grow the practice/program.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement initiatives with Medical Director and leadership to improve performance in patient care, clinical and financial operations, revenue cycle, patient experience, and quality.
• Assist in developing vision and strategic plans with SBHC leadership and senior leadership, aligned with organizational goals.
• Facilitate regular administrative meetings for school health to promote communication among primary care, mental health, and dental services.
• Ensure compliance with HRSA, JCAHO, OMH, DOH, and IPRO regulations.
• Oversee personnel administration and performance with HR.
• Manage contracts and agreements negotiated on behalf of NYU FHC.
• Handle financial management, including budgets, P&Ls, and financial analysis related to school health.
• Oversee daily operations and work closely with MCIT.
• Investigate incidents related to patient complaints and monitor satisfaction.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop staff.
• Review policies and procedures regularly in conjunction with leadership and Compliance.
• Stay informed of regulatory policies and industry changes affecting clinical practice.
• Support staff with information and education regarding changes and updates.
• Oversee outreach to meet enrollment and utilization targets and identify expansion opportunities.
• Promote school health and advocate for the program within the organization and community.
• Establish relationships with community and school leaders to enhance services and expand locations.
• Identify internal resources to strengthen school health through collaboration.
• Work with SBHC team and leadership to increase revenue and improve efficiency.
• Ensure completion of applications related to SBH, Article 28, and HRSA CIS requirements.
• Manage reporting to stakeholders, including regulatory and funding agencies.
• Coordinate with leadership and compliance to follow regulations.
• Foster communication with key stakeholders including school leadership, NYC DOHMH, NYSDOH, and community organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of leadership experience in healthcare or a school environment. Master's degree preferred. Proven leadership and staff management success. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to present ideas clearly. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize in high-pressure settings. Strong customer service skills and team-oriented experience. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred.

The salary range for this role is $66,415.19 - $90,346.35 annually, depending on experience, education, and hospital needs. This range does not include bonuses or other compensation. For more details, click here.
