Job summary

PhyicianOne Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant Float to support our Wallingford and Hamden centers, joining a patient-first team affiliated with Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care.

You will assist with vital signs, tests, specimen collection, documentation, and front-office support across two busy locations, gaining exposure to varied patient populations and two distinct care settings. Compensation is $20-$26 per hour, based on experience and schedule.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant training preferred.
• EHR/EMR experience preferred.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support providers with patient care and treatments.
• Perform vital signs, EKGs, testing, and specimen collection.
• Manage patient documentation and front-office support.
• Help maintain a safe, organized clinical environment.
