Job summary

Platinum Property Management and Platinum Home Services are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Central Wisconsin. This role covers maintenance across our property management portfolio and home services division, delivering a range of repairs and improvements.

You''ll perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and HVAC tasks, handle repair projects, and ensure safety and quality while serving residents and property owners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance, construction, remodeling, or related experience.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or HVAC.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable using smartphones and mobile apps for work orders and scheduling.
• Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general residential maintenance and repairs.
• Handle plumbing repairs and fixture installation.
• Carry out basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain HVAC systems and perform minor repairs.
• Tackle carpentry, drywall, painting, and finish work.
• Conduct turnover repairs and apartment renovations.
• Run preventative maintenance inspections.
• Provide exterior maintenance and seasonal property care.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshoot issues and determine cost-effective repair solutions.
• Work within approved property budgets.
• Complete work orders using company software.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Follow SOPs and safety rules.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in occupied homes and rentals.
