A focus on detail, safety, and efficiency is essential to ensure a clean and organized workplace across all assigned locations. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Janitorial or cleaning experience preferred, but on-the-job training is available.
• Physically able to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally and 10–40 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of cleaning practices, materials, and safety procedures.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Valid driver's license preferred for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, offices, cafeterias, and common areas according to schedule.
• Mop, sweep, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces.
• Maintain drinking fountains, wash basins, and other fixtures.
• Restock and monitor janitorial supplies; follow proper ordering procedures
• Handle waste disposal and manage the company's recycling program
• Assist with light maintenance tasks as needed.
• Travel between assigned locations to support multiple facilities
• Follow proper lifting techniques and safety procedures.
• Wear required PPE, including steel-toed shoes, gloves, and safety glasses.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Support emergency, fire, and severe weather procedures
