Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Maintenance Worker to join our service delivery team across Dorset sites, including hospitals and clinics. You will maintain electrical, mechanical and building systems, work with a multi-disciplinary team, hold a full UK driving license, and participate in an on-call rota, DBS checks, and the NHS pension scheme.

Training and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license required.
• Experience delivering electrical, mechanical and building maintenance across multiple sites is desirable.
• DBS check required for role and full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Undertake routine statutory and mandatory planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all Trust sites.
• Work with and support electricians, mechanical fitters, carpenters and building operatives, as well as clinical staff and managers.
• Liaise with contractors and manage on-call duties, including overtime as needed.
