Job summary

Bradford Soap Works Inc in Broadview, IL is seeking an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, safety and security programs at our Broadview and Blue Island facilities. You will develop, implement, monitor and improve policies, coordinate with corporate EHS&S, HR and site leadership, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.

This role manages permits, inspections, training, incident investigations, and response, and oversees security operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Three+ years in developing/executing EHS programs in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting EHS programs across more than one site preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, U.S. EPA, Illinois EPA, and others.
• Strong project/program management, communication, and computer skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively at all levels of the organization.
• Bilingual, Spanish/English strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide input to EHS and Security policies and ensure communication across Illinois sites Broadview and Blue Island.
• Provide input to annual EHS&S objectives and monitor progress at both sites.
• Keep abreast of federal and state EHS requirements and communicate them site-wide.
• Manage environmental compliance programs including permits, monitoring, and reporting (EPA/Illinois EPA).
• Serve as primary site contact for environmental regulatory agencies and inspections.
• Ensure documented EHS and Security processes address site activities.
