Multisite Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job summary

Burlington Capital Properties (BCP) in the Omaha metro area is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our growing team. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, flooring, and carpentry, and help prep apartments for new residents.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call rotation may be required. We offer competitive pay, benefits, PTO, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
• HVAC certification and other industry certifications are beneficial (requirements vary by property).
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable MVR are required.
• Ability to maintain and provide a basic set of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns to prepare homes for new residents.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, drywall, painting, flooring, and carpentry repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance and service requests.
• Maintain building systems and common areas.
• Assist with grounds maintenance and property appearance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
