Lenovo is seeking an experienced designer to craft intuitive multisensory experiences for ambient AI systems. You will shape how AI communicates through spatial audio, haptics, lighting, and visuals to reduce cognitive load and create natural interactions.

The role requires a strong portfolio in multisensory prototyping, collaboration with cross-functional teams in software and hardware, and expertise in audio-visual prototyping tools. Join Lenovo to push the edge of consumer technology.

Competenze

8+ years of experience designing multisensory experiences, haptic systems, or related fields.
Degree in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, HCI, Sound Design, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

Mansioni

Design integrated sensory feedback systems using spatial audio, advanced haptics, ambient lighting, and visuals to communicate status.
Establish non-visual interaction patterns for alerts and ambient information.
Define tactile feedback characteristics, sonic identity, and interaction choreography.
Develop calm, peripheral awareness models to reduce cognitive overload.
Build experiential rigs and prototypes with soundscapes, actuators, and lighting.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative studies on cognitive load, emotion, usability, and noticeability.
Collaborate with software and hardware teams to turn sensory concepts into feasible experiences.
Use audio synthesis, simulation, and prototyping tools across multichannel hardware.
