Faculty Positions in the Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering (https://www.me.gatech.edu/) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in fundamental and applied areas of mechanical engineering with an emphasis on Advanced Manufacturing, Energy, and/or Healthcare. Applicants will be considered at all ranks, but early career applicants are especially encouraged to apply. Those applying for positions at the Associate and Full Professor rank should have established records in research that demonstrate nationally and internationally recognized expertise. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to teaching and mentoring students.

Required Qualifications

A doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Required Documents to Attach

Applicants should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests, a description of teaching interests as well as their advising/mentoring philosophy, a statement on Tech's mission and values, and the names and contact information for at least three references.

However, an earned doctorate is required by the start of the appointment, and a background check must be completed prior to beginning employment.
