The role demands ownership, adaptability, and unwavering editorial integrity as you anchor, interview, and produce content for streaming, mobile alerts, and social channels.

Qualifications

• Previous anchoring and/or reporting experience in a multiplatform newsroom.
• Proven track record of digital content creation for web and social.
• Strong writing and copy-editing skills with AP Style mastery.
• Experience with SEO and digital analytics tools.
• Excellent on-camera presence with clear, confident delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Anchor evening newscasts, breaks, and streaming segments with consistency.
• Conduct live interviews with newsmakers and community leaders.
• Develop multiplatform stories for broadcast, web, and social.
• Collaborate with producers and editors on story selection and rundown.
• Review copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and digital optimization.
• Engage with viewers across on-air, streaming, and social channels.
