Job summary

KSDK-TV Saint Louis, the NBC Tegna affiliate, is seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Journalist for a temporary, part‑time hourly position. You will create unique, engaging stories and share them across platforms with strong photography and editing.

Requirements: 3–5 years of reporting, solid news judgment, strong writing and production skills; ENPS, EDIUS and Axis graphics experience preferred; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of reporting experience preferred.
• Strong writing, production, and tease writing abilities.
• Solid news judgment and ethical decision‑making skills.
• Proven social and digital content creation ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform live shots in developing stories or breaking news.
• Develop story ideas and mine the community for sources.
• Write and produce stories within deadlines; edit for on‑air and online content.
• Use graphics and new media to enhance stories; use social media to research and distribute content.
• Attend editorial meetings and contribute story ideas daily.
