Job summary

MUHA is seeking a multi-modality technologist to provide quality imaging and patient care across two or more modalities. The role requires ARRT CT certification, graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, and at least one year of radiologic experience.

The position is hourly with a 36-hour weekly schedule and a $20,000 sign-on bonus. The candidate must be able to explain procedures to patients and work well in a team to produce diagnostic images for interpretation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• One year of radiologic experience.
• Must be ARRT-CT certified and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association.
• Current BLS certification and ongoing renewals.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality images for interpretation across modalities.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure competence in the procedures.
• Collaborate with licensed practitioners for image requests and interpretations.

Minimum Training and Education : Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and one year of radiologic experience. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Computed Tomography, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision. Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment. Must be familiar with age specific criteria.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations : Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Computed Tomography, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Proactively maintains and renews ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training.
