Job Details

Reporting to the Radiology Manager, this position performs imaging examinations/procedures in two or more modalities. The role involves working in various imaging sections based on operational needs.

• Interacts professionally with co-workers, visitors, and staff, upholding Jefferson's values.
• Operates radiologic equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
• Monitors patient condition during procedures and alerts physicians of any complications.
• Provides radiologists with high-quality images to support diagnosis.
• Adheres to all radiologic safety regulations.
• Properly positions patients and equipment; administers oral or injected contrast as needed.
• Creates and maintains reports on patient data and radiologic treatments.
• The work schedule is split between two or more modalities, based on business needs.

Job Description

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Associates degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the primary modality.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the secondary modality.

Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:

• ARRT, RDMS, or NMTCB certification required for both primary and secondary modalities.
