Schedule: 7on 7off Nights

Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Blount

Perform a variety of radiographic procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.

1. Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
2. Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
3. Prepare, perform, and assist in special and advanced procedures.
4. Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
5. Help position patients and select parameters accurately.
6. Ensure activities comply with regulatory standards.
7. Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
8. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire, accepted from AHA or ARC.
• One or more of the following:
• Cardiographic Tech credential from CCI.
• Radiologic Technologist credential from ARRT (Radiography or Sonography).
• Medical Sonographer credential from ARDMS.

Education:

• High School diploma with 2 years of experience, or
• Associate's/Technical degree, or
• 4 years of applicable experience.
