Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health Lakeway seeks a Multimodality Technologist supervised by a Radiologist to perform imaging in two or more modalities, with at least 25% focused on advanced areas such as CT, MR, nuclear medicine, or IR. You will work with ambulatory and hospital patients per physician order.

Requires an Associate's degree in Radiology and ARRT credentials; cross-training into Cath/IR; strong emphasis on radiation safety, patient communication using AIDET, and autonomous work style.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Must be willing to cross-train into Cath and IR or at least one.

Responsibilities

• Perform multimodality procedures per exam protocol.
• Maintain imaging quality and safety standards.
• Use iSTAT for creatinine levels.
• Communicate with patients using AIDET and establish rapport.
• Prepare patient and area; position patient; adjust equipment.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; report issues.
• Maintain documentation and medical imaging records.
• Take call if required.
