Job summary

Delray Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate CT imaging equipment, follow ALARA principles, and document results in radiology systems. The role supports image quality and participates in performance improvement initiatives during night shifts.

Florida license and ARRT CT registry requirements apply, with CT registry within 12 months of hire. Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with 2 years CT experience preferred; an AS degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Associate in Science degree preferred.
• 2 years CT experience preferred.
• ARRT registered in Radiology; CT Registry required within 12 months.
• Florida license and American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT imaging equipment following ALARA protocols.
• Performs CT exams and ensures image quality.
• Performs timely documentation in radiology information systems.
• Supports quality and performance improvement initiatives.

Job Summary

Job Shift: Nights

Job Type: Full Time

Operates radiographic equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications. Follows imaging protocols for ordered exams. Obtains optimum CT Scan imaging following ALARA principals. Participates in the quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested. Performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems. Meets departmental performance expectations and Customer Service Standards of Excellence.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of accredited program in radiologic technology
• Associate in Science Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous CT experience or CT training program attendance strongly preferred;
• 2 years recent experience in CT scan technology is desirable

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

• ARRT registered in Radiology;
• CT Registered or Registry Eligible; must be registered in CT within 12 months of hire;
• Florida license, American Heart Association BLS certification.
