BASIC FUNCTION:

The Multimodality Tech will perform a variety of imaging procedures in MRI, CT, and X-Ray for patients of all ages. The Tech can expect to complete a wide range of imaging tasks, as the facility is in a rural setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for patient safety protocols.
  • Acts as the first point of contact with patients to ensure their imaging needs are met successfully.
  • Participates actively in Performance Improvement, Radiation Safety, Patient Satisfaction, Radiological Patient and Physician Education, Continuous Quality Improvement, and Employee Satisfaction Committees.
  • Performs various tasks and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration in Radiography required.
  • ARRT (N) certification required. ARRT (MR), (CT), (R) certifications preferred.
  • Associate Degree of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology and/or Bachelor’s Degree in radiologic sciences from an AMA-approved school preferred.
  • Current BLS certification within 3 months of employment, maintained throughout employment.
  • Preferably, one year of professional radiology experience in a hospital setting.
  • At least one year of MRI technical training in a hospital setting is preferred.
SALARY INFORMATION:
  • $29.38 - $61.94, depending on experience. Salary may vary outside this range.
  • Additional $2.00 - $4.00 per hour for weekend and night shifts.
