Job summary

San Dimas Community Hospital in California seeks a per diem Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join the imaging team. You will perform radiographic, CT, mammography, bone density, ultrasound or special procedures per department protocols and ensure high-quality images are transmitted to PACS.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, participate in PI/QC activities, and support scheduling and supplies for sub departments while ensuring smooth operations in the radiology suite.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• National certifications in two modalities.
• Current BCLS (AHA) and familiarity with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures per department protocols.
• Interfaces with customers to meet imaging needs and supports PI/QC activities.
• Oversees radiology area or staff in Manager/Director absence and maintains supplies.
• Schedules for sub departments and ensures images are transmitted to PACS.
