Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 2 years independent work experience.
• Registered in Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Registered in Computed Tomography (ARRT).
• Current SC licensure by SCRQSA.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic imaging exams (x-ray, c-arm, bone density) as ordered.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Conduct patient assessments and provide timely, safe care.
• Educate patients about procedures and gain cooperation.
• Prepare/ administer contrast media; monitor patient status.
• Prepare equipment, set exposure factors, perform QC.
• May cover outreach sites in Mt. Pleasant, North Charleston, West Ashley.
