Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 2 years independent work experience.
• Registered in Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Registered in Computed Tomography (ARRT CT).
• Licensed by SCRQSA and BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform exams in radiologic imaging (x-ray, c-arm, bone density) per ordering provider and radiologist.
• Maintain knowledge of radiation protection, infection control and standard precautions.
• Conduct patient assessments and provide timely, professional care.
• Review history and orders; educate patients on procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media/medications within scope; monitor patient status.
• Prepare equipment; select exposure factors; run quality control; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Position patients and perform imaging; analyze results and address image quality issues.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results; rotate coverage to other outreach sites as needed.
• Ensure independence with minimal supervision.
