Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks a Multi-Modality Technologist to support MRI, CT, US, Mammography and other imaging modalities. In this role, you will collaborate with physicians, technologists, and nurses to perform imaging studies, manage protocols, and maintain equipment with attention to quality control and patient safety.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, image acquisition, post-processing, and participation in accreditation activities.

Qualifications

• Education: AMA approved school.
• Licenses: BLS certification and ARRT licenses (Radiography, CT, MR, Mammography, Breast Sonography).
• ARRT licenses obtained by hire or upon employment in relevant modalities.

Responsibilities

• Review orders for accuracy and protocol suitability.
• Explain procedures and obtain patient prep and consent.
• Assist physician during imaging and ensure proper labeling and data integrity.
• Perform QC testing and coordinate with service teams for equipment upkeep.
• Post-process imaging and support advanced imaging analyses as needed.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout exams.
