This role requires at least one year of experience and participation in departmental call rotation.

Qualifications

• Specific Training in CT and MRI.
• At least One (1) year experience including Advanced Training with cross-sectional anatomy.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Job description

Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner. Operates C.T., MRI, and X-ray equipment, and prepares patient’s room, equipment, supplies and medications. Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Practices proper radiation and MRI safety techniques on all exams performed.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma / GED

· Specific Training in CT and MRI

· At least One (1) year experience including Advanced Training with cross-sectional anatomy

· Graduate of an AMA – approved school of Radiologic Technology

· Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

· Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License

· Current BLS Certification

· Must be able to participate in Departmental Call Rotation
