Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina in South Carolina seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT scans and radiographs, obtain patient history, and explain procedures. The role requires ARRT registration, SCRQSA licensing, AMA radiologic technology education, and BLS certification.

On-site schedule includes 36 hours per week with on-call rotation, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Applicants should have at least two years of radiology experience and be prepared to rotate modalities as needed

Qualifications

• Education: Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the ARRT and licensed by SCRQSA.
• One year of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist and Computed Tomography.
• Certification is required in modality area post radiology certification.
• ARRT Advanced Modality Registration and BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scan and radiographic exams.
• Produces computerized tomographic scans and radiographs of designated anatomical areas as directed, according to established practices and procedures.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns.
