Job summary

Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking an experienced Acute Multimodality Tech to perform CT/MRI and related imaging procedures. This role covers day shifts at Banner Baywood and Banner Heart Hospital, with potential modality rotation based on licensure and patient needs.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS certifications, state licensure where required, and BLS. Expect a collaborative, patient-centered environment with a strong commitment to safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Requires national certification from ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS based on modalities and licensure by the state.
• Advance certification in a specialty required for two or more modalities for hires after Aug 1, 2019.
• BLS certification required.
• Typically 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
• Must rotate across modalities as needed.
• Certification in two or more modalities: Radiologic (X-ray), CT, DEXA, Mammography, Bone Sonography, Angiography.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed procedures following orders and department policies.
• Educates patients and families; contributes to teamwork and efficient use of resources.
• Produces high-quality images and maintains documentation.
• Demonstrates competency in invasive/interventional procedures where applicable.
• Performs equipment QC and maintains a safe environment; reports issues.
• Keeps patient information confidential and adheres to ethical standards.
• Manages department workflow and inventory to prevent service interruptions.
• Rotates through modalities as needed to match licensure.
