Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience in transportation or related fields.
• Experience with SCDOT projects not required but preferred.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and PMI course completion is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning with staff and consultants for multimodal transportation.
• Develop project scoring, schedules, and annual planning with internal and external partners.
• Prepare reports and updates for the Transportation Penny program and council meetings.
• Coordinate with SCDOT, City of Columbia, and local agencies; ensure compliance with standards.
• Supervise staff, manage budgets, and participate in hiring and performance reviews.
