Zusammenfassung

Meta's Applied AI (AAI) team is seeking a Software Engineer for Multimedia & Multimodal AI to advance data pipelines, evaluation metrics, and model workflows across image, video, audio, and speech modalities. You will own data production, quality, and measurements from open questions to scalable pipelines.

You will collaborate with research, model-training and engineering partners, mentor teammates, and contribute to state-of-the-art multimodal generation and analysis with a strong emphasis on

Qualifikationen

3+ years building ML systems in production or research settings.
Strong Python and PyTorch.
Experience with speech, audio, or music ML (ASR, TTS, etc.).
Experience with large-scale data pipelines and distributed training.
Track record translating research ideas into working systems.

Aufgaben

Design and build agentic workflows and pipelines with human-in-the-loop designs.
Design and own data pipelines at scale: ingestion, filtering, pseudo-labeling, captioning.
Build evaluation infrastructure: metrics, listening-test pipelines, correlation analyses.
Improve training efficiency and reliability: distributed training, GPU utilization.
Mentor engineers, contribute to hiring and onboarding, raise quality.
Build and train generative and representation models for speech, sound, and music.
