Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks a hands-on tuner testing engineer in the United States (IL) to strengthen automotive validation across tuner, media, Bluetooth, Android Auto/CarPlay, and navigation domains.

You will develop Python-based test automation, work with CANoe/CAPL, and simulate CAN environments while validating SiriusXM and Weatherband tests for the USA market. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to debug hardware bench setups in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of tuner testing experience.
• Strong system-level knowledge of media, Bluetooth, projection (Android Auto and CarPlay), navigation, and tuner functionalities.
• Hands-on testing with SiriusXM and Weatherband testing for the USA market.
• Strong knowledge of CAN protocol and CAN environment simulation.
• Experience in Python-based test automation, able to develop and maintain automation scripts.
• Strong understanding of UDS protocol.
• Good knowledge of manual testing concepts, processes, and best practices.
• Practical experience with CANoe and CAPL.
• Ability to set up hardware bench environments and perform issue analysis and debugging.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
