Job summary

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Day to Day set up and operate microphones, mixers, speakers, and related technology.
  • Monitor audio levels and overall sound quality during live and recorded productions.
  • Assist with basic recording, editing, mixing, file organization, and exporting of audio projects.
  • Prepare before scheduled sessions and properly reset equipment following use.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for multimedia needs, including staging, audio, visual, photography, and videography.
  • Communicate with photographers and videographers to ensure timely delivery and sharing of media assets.
  • Assist with organizing, cataloging, and maintaining multimedia assets (audio, video, photography, and digital files).
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and accessibility of all media assets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Multimedia Technician is responsible for assisting with the technical execution of multimedia projects from setup through completion. The role supports audio engineering, livestreaming, event production, and equipment management throughout the college enterprise. This position provides hands-on technical support for department programs.
