Livingstone College seeks a Digital Content Manager to lead planning, creation, and dissemination of content across the college website, email, and social channels. You will ensure timely, on-brand, accessible content engaging prospective students, current students, alumni, and the community.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in content/digital marketing, strong writing/editing skills, and proficiency with CMS and social analytics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or social media management.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of CMS and major social media platforms and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and maintenance of editorial content calendar across website, email, and social channels.
  • Write, edit, and publish digital content including news, social posts, newsletters, and web copy.
  • Manage social media presence, engagement, scheduling, and analytics.
  • Coordinate with IMC Staff to source visual assets for campaigns.
  • Monitor content performance and adjust strategy based on engagement data.
  • Ensure content adheres to brand voice, style, and accessibility standards.
  • Respond to inquiries on official College social channels with IMC leadership.

Position Summary

The Digital Content Manager leads planning, content production, and supports content creation and dissemination across Livingstone College's website, social media platforms, print and digital communications. This role ensures that all digital content imagery is timely, on-brand, accurate, and effective in engaging prospective students, current students, alumni, and the broader community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The results you will deliver each day that matter most!

  • Support the development and maintenance of an editorial content calendar spanning the College website, email, and social media channels.
  • Write, edit, and publish digital content including news stories, social posts, email newsletters, and web copy.
  • Support the management of the College's social media presence, including community engagement, scheduling, and platform analytics.
  • Coordinate with IMC Staff and interns to source visual assets for campaigns.
  • Monitor content performance metrics and adjust strategy based on engagement and reach data.
  • Ensure all published content adheres to brand voice, style guide, and accessibility standards.
  • Respond to and moderate public comments and inquiries on official College social channels in coordination with IMC leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a higher education or nonprofit communications setting.
  • Familiarity with basic graphic design or video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
Work Environment

Office-based with regular need to attend and cover campus events, occasionally outside standard business hours.
