Job summary

The City of Lancaster is seeking a creative Multimedia professional to tell the City’s story through photography, videography, graphic design, and digital content across social media and other channels.

You will work with City departments to transform information into engaging content, plan campaigns, and support events and public programs. Ideal candidates enjoy storytelling and maintaining high professional standards while representing the City’s PRIDE values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in photography, videography, graphic design, digital content production, and social media communications.

Responsibilities

• Creates engaging content for City social media including copy, graphics, photography, short-form video, and other digital content.
• Captures photos and videos at City programs, events, meetings, and activities for use online and in publications.
• Writes, produces, edits, and distributes newsletters, news releases, and promotional materials.
• Develops graphics, flyers, brochures, event materials, and digital campaigns to support City programs.
• Maintains and updates content on the City’s website and other channels.
